Fellowship of Believers – Acts 2:42-47

The Story in a nutshell

On the Day of Pentecost, 3,000 were baptized and added to the church.  These new members joined the other believers and listened closely to the disciples teaching, fellowshipped with one another, shared in the Lord’s Supper, and prayed together.  And as the members met together, a feeling of respect and wonder for God came over them all.

Many things happened in the new church.  For one thing, the disciples performed miracles and amazing acts. Also, the members met together constantly and shared everything they had; they even sold their possessions and shared with those in need.  They worshipped together daily, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared meals together with great joy and generosity – all the while praising God and enjoying goodwill and fellowship.

And each day new members were being saved and added to the church.
